Meet Our Leaders
Corina Rodriguez, Chief Executive Officer
Corina simply loves helping people. Her concern for others is evident in all she does as she works to ensure that patients are helped through the healthcare process efficiently.
These responsibilities come on the heels of 27 years of experience as a social worker with 15 of those years in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. She says she fell in love with rehabilitation when in her first year of employment she witnessed a 102-year-old woman walk out of the hospital after receiving rehabilitation for hip surgery.
Corina earned a bachelor’s degree in social work at Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas, a master’s degree in social work at the University of Texas-Pan American in Edinburg, Texas and an MBA from Our Lady of the Lake University, La Feria, Texas branch.
In addition to her professional responsibilities and academic work, Corina is a board member of both the Weslaco Chamber of Commerce and the Weslaco Rotary Club.

Landelina Mendoza, Director of Patient Outcomes
Landelina is committed to the well-being of the patients. She brings that same compassionate commitment to supervising and directing the case management staff.
After teaching for nine years, Landelina made a career change to occupational therapy because she wanted to make a difference for patients who were recovering from disabling impairments. Now, nearly ten years later, Landelina has transitioned into case management as well and is still happy with her decision.
“It’s great to help somebody prepare for their return to the community,” she says. Landelina lives the quote, “Patients First!” as she believes there’s no better guide to directing each and every decision made daily when assisting patients.
Landelina earned a bachelor’s degree in 1994 from Pan American University in Edinburg, Texas and also maintains a lifetime teacher certification. She also earned a master’s degree in 2008 from the University of Texas – Pan American in Edinburg, Texas. She is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association; certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy; and is also certified by the Commission for Case Manager Certification.

He is eager to see each patient’s progress from needing total care and then walking our of the facility to go home to their families. He thrives in knowing the team will be able to make a difference in a patient’s life, to regain full independence when they have lost all hope.
